Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8484The “Raio que o parta” is a modern trend in Pará that is configured by the junction of architecture with the arts, marked by a symbolic and plastic language in its panels and colorful mosaics formed by shards of tiles creating rays, arrows, geometric and organic figures on the facades. Knowing that the use of tiles conveys a communicative value, the research aims to analyze the aesthetic and formal aspects of the mosaics, evaluating the symmetry, proportions, dimensioning and chromatic spectrum in the specimens found in the neighborhood of São Brás, in Belém. With the data collected, 36 houses were identified in the neighborhood with manifestation of the characteristics Raio que o Parta, among which it was possible, through the analysis of their panels, to observe a significant amount of visual aspects that were frequently repeated among the cataloged specimens, highlighting and grouping the properties according to the composition of their mosaics. Finally, in view of the results obtained, the study contributes to the photographic and informative documentation of this popular identity expression of the local culture of Pará.
