Confecção em ambiente SIG de mapa geológico na escala de 1:50.000, a partir da integração de dados geológicos, aerogeofísicos e de sensoriamento remoto, da região de Amanaiara - Reriutaba, Folha Ipú, NW do Ceará. Acesso em:.http://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/1901The northwest region of the Ceará State comprises terrains that belong to MédioCoreaú and Ceará Central Domains from Borborema Province. The study realized in this area, where is located the Amanaiara – Reriutaba region (SB-24-V-AIII- 2) in the scale of 1:50.000, tried to contribute to the advance of its geological knowledge. For this, initially it was prepared a systematization of the data and preexisting geological information from an extensive collection of studies realized by the Institute of Geosciences from Federal University of Pará since the 1980’s. The digital interpretation of the products of remote sensing, as LANDSAT-5/TM (Thematic Mapper) and SRTM radar images, which were used as the cartography and topography basis, helped in the geological unit’s delimitation. All these procedures were realized using the ENVI and ArcGis 9.3 softwares. In the LANDSAT images, it was applied the enhancement, filtering, transformation for main components and IHS transformation techniques, which permitted to complete the results of visual interpretation. The use of digital remote sensors images (satellites) has demonstrated a great utility in geological-environmental survey and research. The advantage of such techniques is due its wider coverage area of investigation for images and its high quality in terms of spatial resolution, enabling a range of resources through transactions between electromagnetic bands. Aerogeophysical data from Rio Acaraú Project (1974) were processed in the master dissertation of Santos, M.A. (2009), which considered an expressive part of the northwest region of Ceará, utilizing the software OásisMontaj, and consisted basically in data interpolation (125m), microleveling and generation of the transformed themes, as images of the anomalous magnetic field of the horizontals (dx and dy) and vertical (dz) derived, horizontal gradient amplitude, analytic signal amplitude, analytical signal slope and images of the channels of K, U, Th and CT, and ternary images (RGB and CMY). With the results obtained with this processing, the area of this graduation conclusion work was chosen and interpreted. Interpretation of remote sensing and geophysical products, associated to geological mapping in scale of 1:50.000 of Amanaiara – Reriutaba region, allowed the litho-structural characterization of this important region of the Northeast. Based on the proposed objectives in this research and the methodology used for its implementation, a geological map was produced and enriched with the elements revealed by integrated analysis of all products considered. The study demonstrates the importance of using so-called “geotechnologies” for geological cartography, making the maps produced richer and more reliable, and also providing information that can be available quickly, since all products from this work are in the digital form.
