Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8974This research addresses the Intervention Proposal: Didactic Transposition of artistic language as a strategy for teaching Portuguese for the 6th grade. The imagery resources, based on the didactic procedure, were used to construct the proposals for strategies for developing activities, reading, orality and textual production in Portuguese language classes according to the Dolz; Schneuwly (2004) Didactic Sequence. The theoretical framework used incorporates the studies of BALIEIRO (2022), BONAMINI (2022), BESSA-OLIVEIRA (2018), DÁVILA (2014), FREIRE (2011), and the notes of the National Common Curricular Base - BNCC (Brazil, 2018). Our objective is to present a proposal for a language activity through a Didactic Sequence for teaching reading and textual production in Portuguese with sixth-grade students of Elementary School; emphasize local artistic and historical elements, images of monuments and paintings in the teaching-learning process, and promote theoretical and methodological support to guide teachers in the development of language practices at school. Methodologically, we conducted theoretical and field research aiming to collect information and images to perform the didactic transposition of image-based texts into the pictorial genre.
