Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10451This article addresses the context of rural extension as a public policy capable of strengthening the idea of Family Farmers as a private subject of law, having their own unique way of working and relating to rural areas. To maintain its characteristics, a state capacity must be structured that guarantees it economic resources and promotes it socially, as they guarantee its reproducibility. Highlighting the context of technological innovation in recent decades, in which an “unequal modernization” of production is promoted, family farming suffers risks regarding its permanence due to the difficulty of qualifying as a political organization, but with the introduction of democratic ideals, it began to have a voice, and began to assume particular rights.
