Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/4591This work sought to investigate the most common fertilization practices in the cultivation of açaí in terra firme areas, in the municipality of Moju, in the lower Tocantins region of the state of Pará/Brazil. Açaí is an important fruit for the local and national economy and has been gaining ground in international trade, this is due to the fact that açaí is a fruit rich in proteins, fibers, lipids and some vitamins, it is also a good antioxidant, has good, amount of phosphorus, iron and calcium. The methodology used was based on a case study via a questionnaire to collect data from growers in the region, discussing the most common ways of growing the fruit and the fertilizers used, as well as the frequency with which the fertilizers are applied to the planting of açaí, in addition to issues related to sustainability, cultivated land, improvements after using fertilizers and irrigation systems.
