Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/5947This study deals with the life of quilombola children from the Tauerá-Açú community, in the municipality of Abaetetuba-PA, especially their childhood interactions and their relationship with water. It aimed to situate the childhood culture of Quilombola children from Tauerá-Açú, highlighting the daily life of/in the waters from their voices and social practices. The qualitative approach investigation involved a bibliographical study based on theorists who discuss the theme, as well as field research using observation, interviews and photography. As part of the results obtained by the study, we found that children enhance their knowledge, as their interactive and relational practices are always happening, in different baths in rivers, in contemplations and crossings, in the games they invent, in the school that plays in their world/ them, in the family, etc. It was possible to evidence a rich Amazonian natural/social environment of learning, from the knowledge of quilombola children.
