It can be integrated with other modalities such as ecotourism, rural tourism, adventure tourism, and community-based tourism. This study aims to propose a geotouristic itinerary across the river islets of the Mosqueiro Archipelago, in Belém (Pará State, Brazil), highlighting unique landscapes that remain little known yet are threatened by irregular land occupation and fire outbreaks that compromise their integrity. The research adopts geotourism from a geographical perspective as its theoretical framework, emphasizing the geomorphological dynamics of rivers, the exuberant landscapes, and the riverine way of life as expressions of local historical, cultural, and ethnocultural heritage. It is expected that this initiative will contribute, in both scientific and educational domains, to the systematization of a protocol for implementing geotourism in Mosqueiro, supporting environmental assessments, community-based tourism, and public policies aimed at the regional development of the Amazon in Pará.
