From the perspective of the researcher-participant ando f a qualitative nature, this research aims to analyse the cultural manifestation called “Cordão Pássaro Rouxionol” that takes place in the Carananduba Quilombo, Acará/Pará, listing the elements that composse the phenomenon, as well as fostering critical reflections on artistic practice, which is positioned between the traditional and contemporary. In light of the thoughts of Loureiro (2015), Bertolino (2024), Bezelga (2008) e Castro (2023).
