More specifically its purpose is to analyze the representations of teachers on reading in multisseriate class understand the methodologies that are used to work with reading are made so that students feel encouraged to read with pleasure at school, identify successes and failures that the student is showing a result of the reading process developed in the institution. The methodology used was the case study is a qualitative method that usually consists of a way to deepen an individual unit. The approach used in the research was qualitative because it is exploratory, ie, encourages respondents to think freely about any subject, object or concept, since this is a type of research that is more appropriate for analyzing the subject in focus. One semi-structured interview with a previously prepared script was made. Doing this research has brought to us a new conception of teaching methods that have been used and the reading strategies that the teaching of the 2nd and 3rd year of the EMEF Ajó uses to be helping its students to have a better understanding about the importance of reading. For the present work, we used the theoretical studies of Bamberger, Freire, Ghiraldelli Junio, Hage, Oliveira , Solé among others. With our research and conversations with the teacher noticed that most third graders have read and that students are following the second of third year student.
