To this end, a bibliographic research was carried out and an electronic questionnaire was applied, in order to: a) analyze the context of the covid-19 pandemic and emergency assistance; b) identify the concepts related to financial education and family economy; c) analyze whether the management of emergency aid resources in the family economy were guided by the concepts of financial education. From the data obtained, it is concluded that most of the interviewees faced great economic difficulties due to the current economic and health crisis, with the receipt of emergency aid being the partial or even full origin of the financial resources used in the family economy.
