Signals were collected using electrocardiograms(ECG) under two different conditions: rest and auditory stimulation. The auditory protocol consisted of presenting numerical sequences under progressive background noise, requiring attention andworking memory from the participants. The results showed statistically significant differences between the groups, with reduced entropy values in the experimental group, suggesting lower autonomic complexity and reduced physiological adaptability to external stimuli. This autonomic rigidity may be associated with the occupational stress characteristic of public transport drivers, who are often exposed to long working hours, constant noise, pressure to meet schedules, and heavy traffic. It is concluded that Shannon entropy applied to HRV analysis is a sensitive tool for investigating autonomic modulation in work contexts and may aid in understanding the impacts of chronic stress on cardiovascular healthAcesso AbertoEntropia de shannonEletrocardiogramaEstímulos sonorosEstresse OcupacionalShannon entropyElectrocardiogramSound stimuliOccupational stressCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA BIOMEDICACorrelação entre alterações eletrocardiográficas e limiares auditivos em motoristas de transporte públicoTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
