Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/3720The bleaching process in a kaolin beneficiation plant, in the State of Para, has been modified in the last ten years, being divided in three main phases, including and excluding sulfuric acid dosage in the system. This paper shows the Project developed in the company, using PDCA methodology, from september 2020 to april 2021, aiming to reduce aluminum sulfate specific consumption, by 2%, in the bleaching stage, identifying ineficiency causes and proposing solutions related to procedural reviews, training and priorization of failures. Data collected refers to the whole period of the Project and the activities were taken along with production and maintenance teams.
