The circulator is based on a hexaferrite core, enabling operation with no need for external magnetization due to the intrinsic magnetization of the resonant material. In the theoretical part of this work, an approximate analytical method for the design of hexaferrite resonators is proposed. Through adjustments made to the resonant cavity that compose the proposed circulator, high isolation levels, low insertion losses, and excellent bandwidth were achieved.
