Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7856This research is a result of our experiences during the subject Internship III: Portuguese and Literature in Inclusion Contexts, in adult education at Serviço Social da Indústria (SESI), in Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial (SENAI), located Bragança, Pará, Brazil. The research aims to show a part of the didactic purpose used in the class, demonstrating that the activities with literary texts can contribute to better critical thinking of students as citizens. The methodology used is the immersion in that school, field research, and the procedures follow observation, register in a field diary, and bibliographical research. Considering the period of teaching in that class has conceded with Black Awareness Day in Brazil (November 20th), we proposed a lesson plan showing the importance of literature to report racism, violence, and social injustices experienced by black people as well, we are seeking to focus on antiracist teaching, based on many theories. It is based on Matriz de Referência Curricular/SESI (2022) and reflections by authors such as Cândido (2006), Campos (2023), Mota (2021), Pimenta e Lima (2010), and others.
