Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/7793The article on socioeconomic and environmental sustainability in Productive Backyards (QP) has shown significant progress over the last decades, reflecting the growing importance of these spaces for family farming. This progress can be attributed to the integration of robust theoretical approaches and innovative methodologies, such as the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Socioeconomic and Environmental Regression Analysis (SEA).The research was conducted in loco and developed on Caratateua Island, which belongs to the Metropolitan Region of the Amazon of Pará (RMB). The results indicate ten (10) attributes analyzed: income and economic sustainability, food and nutritional security, education and training, access to markets and marketing, community and social participation, women's empowerment, biodiversity conservation, sustainable management practices and environmental impact and were those that had increases and, only access to resources and public policies did not change, remaining constant throughout the period analyzed. The Socioeconomic and Environmental Index revealed a significant advance in the period from 2019 to 2024, rising from 0.63 to 0.93, indicating an increase of 47.62% in the sustainability of QPs.
