The text addresses the issues that influenced migration, especially the lack of schooling for the children to continue their studies, since most schools offer up to 6th grade. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven families who moved to the city or had members of the same who migrated to guarantee study for their children. The mothers of two families came with the children to the city. One came along with all the family and four of them sent their children alone. Six of them depend on the sale of food produced on their property to help with household expenses, and they receive the benefit of the family grant, and two have retired members. Most of the young people do not return to the lot, and end up constituting their own families and stay in the city, with difficulty of employment and to give continuity to the education.
