Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9957This study looked at how Environmental Education is being implemented in the middle school years of public schools in Ananindeua/PA, from the perspective of teachers and students, and considering the sociopolitical context of COP30. Using a qualitative and exploratory approach, it included a literature review, questionnaires with students, and interviews with teachers, all analyzed through content analysis. The results showed that, although Environmental Education is seen as important, in practice it happens in a somewhat fragmented way, with structural limitations, lack of curriculum planning, and difficulty connecting theory and practice. It was also noted that students have a shallow understanding of environmental topics.
