Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9724This Final Course Project presents an experience report that aims to analyze the learning about pedagogical practices in the context of literacy and reading comprehension, acquired as a scholarship recipient of the Institutional Scholarship Program for Teaching Initiation (PIBID). The experience took place in the Literacy Subproject, Bragança Nucleus, of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), in a 2nd-grade class of Elementary School, at the Maria José dos Santos Martins municipal school, allowing close observation of the school routine and the real challenges of the teaching profession. The methodology used has a qualitative approach of a descriptive and reflective nature, seeking to articulate observations and practical interventions with the adopted theoretical framework. The results revealed that continuous insertion into the school routine enables the articulation between theory and practice, showing that the use of playful textual genres, such as songs and poems, favors the integration of literacy and reading comprehension. Interventions based on the storytelling of Audrey Wood's "The Sleepy House" demonstrated that intentional and contextualized proposals stimulate phonological awareness without resorting to mechanical methods, validating students' writing attempts as indicators for teacher mediation.
