The methodology used was the qualitative approach from theoretical-practical interventions in a stage in the 3rd year of elementary school, within the scope of the research project School Dance and Education and the extension project Educadança. The research follows a theoretical-practical reference based on studies from a look at the dance within the formal education schools in the municipalities of Belém and Ananindeua, in Pará. As a basis for this work, we sought the conception of the tripod of the relations of the triad of Isabel Marques (2010) and the triangular approach of Ana Mae Barbosa (1980) in the use of methodological paths in the teaching-learning process of Dance in the classroom. It can be noticed that the socio-political-cultural contexts of both the school and the student can be interrelated with proposals of education through dance, since it is the competence of the school to form citizens for the society.
