Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9089This article is based on the premise that the teaching of Geography in contemporary times faces several difficulties, among them a certain level of deficiency in geographical reasoning observed in three municipal schools in the Xingu Integration Region (RIX). In this context, the present work aims to discuss how LABINFRA, by funding PIEPE, contributes to the development of geographical reasoning in schools in the municipalities of Altamira-PA (EMEF Professor Antonio Gondim Lins), Brasil Novo-PA (EMEF Brasil Novo) and Vitória do Xingu-PA (EMEF Raimunda Cabral) through two pedagogical immersions carried out through the project of Inseparable Practices of Teaching-Research and Extension (PIEPE), linked to the Laboratory of Studies of Territorial Dynamics in the Amazon (LEDTAM).
