In this context, schools stand out as strategic spaces for health education, especially regarding vaccination. In Brazil, there are policies, such as the National Immunization Plan, that are essential for controlling diseases. Methodology: Interactive lectures in four public schools in Altamira, Pará, addressing the history of vaccines from a medical perspective. The activities sought to demystify misconceptions, teaching strategies to recognize fake news and strengthening the safety of immunization, promoting the appreciation of science among children, adolescents and adults, using multimedia materials, posters, illustrations to color, interactive dynamics and, as a complementary resource, the creation of a booklet. Results: The projects positively impacted approximately 300 people, including teachers, teaching staff and students from the 6th grade of Elementary School to the 3rd year of High School. Before the educational activities, it is worth noting that there was a gap in knowledge about the topic addressed, highlighting the need for clarification regarding the main false information disseminated, especially on social media, which leads to vaccine hesitancy and compromises the immunization of children and adolescents in the public school system. In addition, as part of the initiatives, a Simple Poster was presented, an educational booklet was published, and the Annals of the Brazilian Congress of Medical Education were included. Discussion: The extension projects provided an invaluable academic and social experience, fostering and consolidating confidence in vaccination, while instigating curiosity and bringing students closer to scientific knowledge in the school context. In addition to clarifying the relevance of immunization, the actions disseminated essential knowledge about well-being and protection, expanding the concept of health to more than the mere absence of diseases and intrinsically linking it to prevention, the main foundation of the Unified Health System (SUS).Acesso AbertoVacinaSaúdeEducaçãoEscolaVaccineHealthEducationSchoolCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::MEDICINA::CLINICA MEDICAInfo-vacinas: ações de promoção a vacinação de crianças, jovens e sob a perspectiva médica em escolas públicas da zona urbana de Altamira-PATrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
