Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8122The present research traces discussions about the role of the pedagogue in non-school spaces from the work developed by this professional in the Specialized Reference Center of Social Assistance-CREAS in the municipality of Cametá-Pa. From a field research we seek to understand how the pedagogical action is not limited to the context of schools, but is configured from the specificities of each space and the subjects attended. In this sense, we used qualitative research procedures that allowed us to use instruments such as: semi-structured interviews, participant observation, as well as document access. To understand this configuration we seek to describe how the work of the pedagogue is developed and how its activities are performed. And finally, we analyze the results having as theoretical basis Libane (2001, 2002), Arroyo (2012) Brandão (1981). The main results demonstrate the importance of the pedagogical work in non-school spaces, the methodologies, attendance, evaluation processes, organization, even the attitude of this professional goes through a resignification resulting in other / new knowledge. Thus, we still have much to learn in these spaces, especially because it is the search for results in common through a team with other professionals such as psychologist, social worker.
