Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8935This study aims to analyze the practices of school caregivers and their relationship with professional training and recognition in the context of inclusive education, using a state school in Capanema-PA as a case study. The qualitative research was based on semi-structured interviews with three caregivers to understand their perceptions of the preparation, challenges, and advancements inherent to the role. The results show that the lack of specific training and precarious working conditions directly impact the quality of specialized educational support. It was found that knowledge is predominantly constructed through daily experience, without systematic institutional support, while professionals face structural, relational, and emotional obstacles.
