Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8354This "Course Conclusion Work - TCC" focuses on the teaching of "Dance" in the municipal schools of Benevides-PA, structured as a research problem to be investigated: to know "How has the teaching of dance content been worked on in the Art discipline in the context of the municipal schools of Benevides - Pará?". The universe of research was centered on the public schools of the municipality of Benevides, more precisely, on the final grades of Elementary School. The chosen "Research Approach" was "Qualitative", because it has among its characteristics "the natural environment as a direct source of data" (Gressler, 2004 p.87) and because it accepts multiple research methods (Gressler, 2004). As for the "Research Method", what is proposed by Oral History was followed. It was configured as a "type of research", more specifically, what Oral History calls "Thematic Oral History". In this direction, semi structured interviews were used as a research data collection instrument, followed by observation. The information collected was analyzed using "Thematic Analysis - AT" which "is a qualitative data analysis method to identify, analyze, interpret and report patterns (themes) from qualitative data. (Souza, 2019 p. 52). After all its stages, the work was structured in four sessions, namely: TEACHING DANCE IN FORMAL CURRICULA IN SCHOOLS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BENEVIDES IN THE STATE OF PARÁ, dance in schools in the municipality of Benevides, how I arrived at the present research theme, dance as teaching; the second session: TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCESSES OF/IN DANCE - THEORIES AND PRACTICES, addresses the teaching of dance in formal curricula in schools in the municipality of Benevides in the state of Pará, what is the form in which dance is present in regular schools and if it is present in the school curricula; the third Session: TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCESSES OF/IN DANCE - THEORIES AND PRACTICES - are the forms and processes that dance teaching can lead to the practices used in classes; the fourth: REFLECTIONS ON THE PRACTICE OF DANCE TEACHING - WHAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED, WHAT I HAVE SEEN AND WHAT I WANT TO SEE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BENEVIDES - Reflection on dance in the school context. Aware that Dance has great contributions to make to society, the work in question sought to address the learning processes that the Art discipline goes through in school curricula in relation to dance content in the hope that the result of the study can contribute to the Dance Degree Course at UFPA in order to highlight the importance of research related to dance in school teaching, and make it clear that the Course is a Degree, and that "Course Completion Works - TCC" that address this theme of Dance in schools are very necessary.
