Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8222This work brings an investigation about the relationship between ethnobotany knowledge and the teaching of botany in high school, focusing on the experience with students of the Modular Education Organization System in the Municipality, located in the community of Furtados in the Municipality of Cametá-Pa . The research carried out the following question: how does the relationship between ethnobotany and botany contribute to the teaching/learning processes in high school in rural schools? The objectives of this research were to analyze the relationship between ethnobotany and botany in Biology teaching, in addition to identifying the dialogue between the knowledge of rural subjects and the high school Biology curriculum, with regard to botany. The research was of a qualitative nature with an emphasis on action research, it had a bibliographic study with reference to Xolocotzi (1982) and Albuquerque (2005) who approach ethnobotany as a scientific field that studies the interrelationships that are established between the human humans and plants, through time and in different environments.
