With an analytical and bibliographic methodology, emphasizing the innate and acquired knowledge, contextualizing in a simple way; however, based on authors such as Paulo Freire who show us that knowledge can be shared between students and teachers, adopting a simple language like that of the people interior, approaching the importance of this root in the daily life of families whole. This course conclusion work greatly contributed to the understanding of the production of our everyday flour and will present a new context worrying: the disposal of the root husks used in the manual production of flour.
