The research is based on authors such as Lopes-Rossi (2011), Angelo and Menegassi (2010), and Vygotsky (2009), as well as official documents such as the National Curriculum Parameters (PCNs) and the Common National Curriculum Base (BNCC). Based on this framework, a reading project was developed using the book The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, aiming to foster students’ creativity, individuality, and reading competence through a sequence of activities divided into four lessons. From the results, we can see that the adventure narrative genre, which in its central aspects addresses features of action, imagination, and overcoming, constitutes an effective didactic resource to bring students closer to literature and promote more meaningful, enjoyable learning while fostering the formation of readers who are aware of their surroundings.
