Is inserted in the Tapajós Domain province geochronological Tapajós-Parima, southwestern Amazon Craton. The batholic massif with approximately 316 km ² emerges through flooring, blocks located along waterways, back roads and hillsides that can reach up 600m tall. Petrographic studies, which were based on mesoscopic and microscopic descriptions, added to field data and geophysical (aerogammaspectrometry and aeromagnetometry) allowed the separation of the massif into two major groups: one formed by monzogranitics and sienogranitics rocks correlated the Maloquinha Intrusive Suite and other rocks granodiritics and monzogranitics correlated to Parauari Intrusive Suite. The Maloquinha Suite of rocks are represented by isotropic rocks, texture phaneritic, holocrystallines, hololeucocratics and leucocratic, inequigranular, medium-grained, locally coarse, mainly composed of quartz, orthoclase and plagioclase (An12-30). The essential mineralogy and mafic minerals amphibole and biotite allowed the individualization of types biotite monzogranite, biotite-amphibole monzogranite and biotite syenogranite. Aerogammaspectrometry image analysis reveals that the rocks Maloquinha Suite have of high radiation. Rocks located in the northern portion and were classified as granite porphyries are correlated, in this work, the Maloquinha Suite, since this unit is regarded in the literature as formed by shallow granites associated commonly with subvolcanic bodies. The Parauari Intrusive Suite consists of isotropic rocks of monzogranitic to granodioritic composition the texture phaneritic, whitish gray coloration composed mainly of quartz, orthoclase and plagioclase (An25-34), with the mafic minerals biotite and amphibole. In the northwest portion identified a diabase dike whose guidance, N40E, was measured based on an image aeromagnetometric (analytical signal). The host rocks are represented by volcanic rocks of the Group Iriri. Salustiano Formation is represented by rhyolites presenting with massive porphyritic texture, afanitic matrix and color dark pink and phenocrysts of quartz, plagioclase and orthoclase. The amphibole occurs as mineral mafic. The Aruri Formation is represented by rhyolitic tuffs that have pyroclastic texture with fragments of crystals (plagioclase, orthoclase, quartz) plus rock fragments grained lapilli. The matrix shows intense recrystallization evidenced by spherulites.Acesso AbertoGeologiaPetrografiaRochas GraníticasPetrologia (Pará)CNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::GEOCIENCIAS::GEOLOGIAGeologia e petrografia do maciço granítico igarapé Marcondes, sudoeste do ParáTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - Monografia
