In this context, neurodivergent users coexist, requiring mediation that meets their needs and preferences. This study aims to investigate, based on scientific literature, the information mediation process with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as how information professionals welcome this population. To this end, it was necessary to analyze works addressing the theme of information mediation with neurodivergent individuals, identify the challenges information professionals have faced with this population, and discuss approaches and best practices for this group. The research is basic in nature, exploratory and descriptive, with a qualitative approach, using bibliographic research as its method and content analysis as its analytical technique. The results identified that the challenges began with the initial service, followed by communication with the user, the lack of adequate tools, informational resources, and accessibility and inclusion in information units.
