Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8433We recognize that currently the use of educational software occurs more frequently in the teaching of mathematics, which have proved beneficial to the teaching and learning process because it is more attractive and interesting for the student. As a result of this process, the student may have a greater interest in the study content, as well as their participation in the classroom, can be carried out effectively, raising the school level. This study starts from the question: What contributions can the Geogebra Software favor in the teaching of Mathematics? We intend to carry out a theoretical and practical study about the application of GeoGebra Mathematical Software with 7th grade students. To do so, we seek to point out the difficulties of students through the contents of Mathematics; and to make contributions of the use of the new technologies in the teaching of operations with fractions, characterizing the necessary skills of the teacher in the 21st century against the use of new technologies. The methodology used began with a bibliographical research followed by a field research of the applied type, of qualitative approach, in a primary school located in São Francisco do Pará, where an activity was carried out with the Software (GeoGebra). Students of the 7th grade were subjects of this study, as a method of study we used the participant observation, and to analyze the data, the interpretative analysis.
