Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8401This research project aims to carry out a diagnosis of the management of internships in Architecture and Urban Planning within the Metropolitan Region of Belém to propose an alternative for improvement of the practice. The methodological approach is based on survey research, utilizing a questionnaire to analyze, comparatively, the realities of practice and the theoretical frameworks by legislation, considering the students' point of view regarding the challenges and issues they encounter in professional practice. As subjects of this research, stand out Architecture and Urban Planning students from the Federal University of Pará. The study identified that regardless of whether the perception of the internship is positive or negative, there is a predominance of specific areas of professional activity that act as an obstacle to the development of transversal skills and collective nature abilities, in addition to problems at an interpersonal level.
