In addition to this, there is the contemporary importance of radiofrequency; it is necessary to study models that describe reality in a sufficiently precise way and with computational feasibility. In this work, we present a model with two-dimensional spatial analysis, simulated in the COMSOL software, which uses the Finite Element Method (FEM) to calculate the magnitude and phase of the waves. In a region on a 2D plane, we place the air as the main propagation medium, with the forest as an obstacle (modeled as a rectangular block) for the observation of reflection, refraction, diffraction and absorption, and the soil and water located on the “floor” of the region. The wave is generated by a current source operating at a frequency of 521 MHz. Four simulations were performed, two for horizontal polarization (electric current source), two for vertical polarization (magnetic current), and each with the source located below or above the height of the block representing the forest.
