Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/2864The present work had the objective of introduce the History of Mathematics to twentyfour students of the 3rd grade of elementary school at a State Public School, in the Guamá neighborhood in Belém city. The instruments used were: a semi-structured interview, a created story to meet the aims of this study, field diary and finally a semistructured comic book story based on the history of mathematics on trade relations (Roney, 2012). The students' previous knowledge was obtained through an interview made in a conversation, in which a logbook with notes was made. Then the story of mathematics was told in the form of staging with 3 characters and finally was given to them a sheet with the semi-structured comic genre in order to evaluate what they had learned.
