The water transportation is growing appreciation in Brazil, however, studies that address the theme of the negative effects of the waves boat-generated (OGE) are incipient. It was observed that there is a high boat traffic attracted to bars and restaurants and to practice boating near Belem - PA. This paper analyzes the waves as their heights, energies and powers. Two experiments were conducted in different location, Combu channel and margin the edge of the UFPA. In experiment 1, it was used two pressure sensors, one on each bank submerged. Trains from OGE detected were associated with four types of boat: boat with center motor (BMC), rabeta (RAB), jet ski (JS) and speed boat (LAN). In experiment 2, the sensors are distributed in different depths of a margin. It was considered a train of waves speed boat-generated. It was quantified the heights, energies and powers of the greatest waves of each train of waves for boat of four types cited. The order of increasing energy and power of the biggest waves related to the types of boat, for 30m the extension of the experiment 1: BMC < JS < RAB < LAN. To the extension of 50m of the experiment 2, pressure sensors measured at different heights, and in the shallower region, the heights were higher, as well as the values of energy and power. The waves speed boatgenerated are higher and therefore more energetic and powerful as expected. Since the boat with center motor obtained the lowest values of these parameters. As for erosion, the presence of vegetation is not enough to control it, because the main causes are geological and hydrodynamic factors. It was concluded that the parameter values of Froude number for environments with currents as the river Guama should be corrected with devices rotors or ADCP.
