The parameters of waves are applied in several projects of navigation and their knowledge is of substantial relevance to the management of activities in coastal and oceanic regions. This paper has as a principal objective describes and analyses wave’s parameters generated from wind at north and northeast Brazilian coast and observed the possible variations between the regions with different morphology and hydrodynamic. To obtain the wave’s data, field collections are realized using equipment with pressure sensor for variation of free surface’s data and a compass to identify the waves’s directions. The data was submitted to a significant higher calculation, significant periods, calculation refers to Airy’s Theory and energy and potential calculations.
