The experiment followed a completely randomized design in a 2 × 2 factorial arrangement, considering two drinker systems (trough and cup) and two cage tiers (lower and upper). Environmental parameters, surface 6 temperature assessed by infrared thermography, egg production, egg weight, and shell quality were evaluated. A gradual increase in air temperature and air relative humidity was observed throughout the day, resulting in higher surface temperatures, especially during the hottest periods. Cage tier position influenced the internal microclimate of the house, with higher thermal values recorded in upper tiers. The trough drinker system was associated with lower surface temperatures compared to the cup system, suggesting improved thermal comfort. Egg production was not significantly reduced under the evaluated conditions; however, more sensitive parameters such as egg weight and surface body temperature were affected. It can be concluded that drinker type and cage position influence thermal conditions and may affect physiological and productive responses in commercial laying systems.Acesso AbertoAmbiência avículaEstresse térmicoTermografia infravermelhaCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIAS::ZOOTECNIA::ECOLOGIA DOS ANIMAIS DOMESTICOS E ETOLOGIADesempenho e temperatura corporal superficial de poedeiras submetidas a diferentes tipos de bebedouros e níveis de altura de gaiolaTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - ArtigoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
