Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8068This article analyzes the processes of integrating social knowledge and academic learning within the Modular Teaching System (SOME), focusing on the riverine school EMEIF Maria Regina Aquime and considering the educational experiences of riverine youth in this teaching modality in Cametá, Pará. The study investigates how the integration between local knowledge and pedagogical practices occurs in high school, taking into account the challenges faced by students and teachers. The qualitative research, based on semi-structured interviews and participant observation, explores how young workers experience high school through pedagogical and educational practices, highlighting the relevance of SOME in democratizing access to education in rural areas.
