The objective of this research was to know the level of physical activity and nutritional status of cardiac patients admitted to a referral hospital. Methodology: crosssectional and analytical study, conducted with 41 patients, of both sexes who had a diagnosis of heart disease. Sociodemographic data, laboratory tests, level of physical activity and anthropometry were collected. Results: the sample consisted predominantly of males (78.05%), elderly (60.98%), married (48.78%), from the metropolitan region of Belém (58.54%), with education incomplete primary education (41.46%), family income of 1 and 3 minimum wages (51.22%), exhuming (63.41%), exethilist (58.54%), and among the pathologies, 75.61% had AMI (75.61%) and eutrophic BMI (48.78%). The practice of physical activity was observed in 51.22% of the sample. There was no difference between nutritional status and the association between the level of physical activity according to the type of heart disease (AMI, ICC, BAVIT, ANGINA). In AMI cardiopathy, there was a significant difference for nutritional status, with fewer overweight and mostly eutrophic individuals and for the level of physical activity, with most individuals <75 min per week. However, regardless of heart disease, it was observed that 70.73% of the studied sample has a low frequency of physical activity (<75 min weekly). Conclusion: It was observed that in the sample studied, the level of physical activity and nutritional status did not present a significant relationship with heart diseases.
