This article's study area is the Maguari-Açu River, located in the municipality of Ananindeua-PA, with the objective of carrying out analyzes of landscape changes through geoprocessing, addressing environmental impacts. In general, various actions resulting from urbanization developed for environmental management have an impact on the landscape, with emphasis on the implementation of the marginal road called Radial Norte in recent years. The results highlighted the main actions that affected the urban landscape: rectification of the river channel, advancement of urbanization with the installation of new settlements, housings and other private enterprises, suppression of vegetation, pollution by solid waste and landfilling of flood particles.
