Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9393The teaching of botany content in science classes in elementary education has become less attractive to students, because it is considered monotonous and discouraging, because of the complexity of the discipline and the way it is taught, either through textbooks or lectures, without the active participation of the student in the teaching-learning process. The objective of this work was to investigate how the use of didactic games contributed to the learning of angiosperm reproduction in a Municipal School of Primary Education in the municipality of Melgaço, State of Pará, using the "Dominoplant" and "Angiosperm Board‖. Before the beginning of the research, a Free and Informed Consent Form was delivered to the school board, teacher, parents or students' parents. During the period from September 17 to October 3, 2018, a previous form was applied to 23 students and another after the educational games, developing a qualitative research, specifically a case study. By means of the previous survey, it was found that 65.3% of the interviewees never studied botany, 95.6% did not know the meaning of the word botany and 65.2% did not know what is studied in botany. Consequently, they also did not know what angiosperms are and used colloquial nomenclature for flower and fruit morphology. And through the second form, it was detected that the Students presented a evolution in their knowledge about botany, being able to formulate more complete and correct answers in defining the angiosperms and their reproductive structures, besides being more committed and motivated to learn . In this way, we consider that the games used were a facilitating resource for botany classes and contributed to meaningful learning by enabling these students to be pioneers for a generation that values plants, spreading the importance of understanding botanical terms and concepts.Acesso AbertoEnsino de botânicaJogos didáticosAngiospermasTeaching botanyDidactic gamesAngiospermsCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO::ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEMO uso de jogos educativos como recursos didáticos na aprendizagem da reprodução de angiospermasTrabalho de Curso - Graduação - MonografiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazil
