Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/10318This article examines the influence of the private sector in the implementation of public policies related to technological education in Brazil, focusing on the role of the Center for Innovation in Brazilian Education (Cieb) and its relationship with the Ceibal Foundation. Based on bibliographic and documentary research, the study analyzes how Cieb operates as a key agent of private interests in promoting the digitalization of public education, in cooperation with public and private institutions. It also explores the transnational expansion of the Ceibal Foundation’s model across Latin America and the Caribbean, and how this collaboration shapes digital education policies in Brazil. The findings highlight the role of Cieb in the development of the Connected Education Innovation Policy and its operationalization through the PDDE Quality: Connected Education program.
