To a better understanding of the area of interest and in order to hydrocarbons exploration wells to be drilled at the correct location, it is necessary high precision methods of exploration as well as gather of information from various Geologic and Geophysical methods. The images generated by the Seismic method generally have their vertical axes represented in time (mili-seconds). In order to have an idea of the position in depth of the subsurface layers it is necessary to make a conversion of these vertical axes called time-depth conversion. There exist plenty of technics to acquire an in depth images. This work will show ten situations in which it is possible to implement the technic called vertical time-depth conversion, based in bibliographic research. This work also shows the result of time-depth conversion of the seismic lines 295_004, 295_005, 295_006, 295_008, due be parallels to the line 295_007, from Parnaíba basin ceded by National Agency of Petroleum (ANP) and using the software ProMAX@ from Land Mark Corporation.
