Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9870The present study reports an experience lived by nine students from the Physical Education Licentiate course at the Castanhal campus, Pará, enrolled in the discipline of Educational Evaluation. These students, after attending the theoretical class on the various types of techniques and evaluation instruments that can be used in the classroom, addressed the theme of the evaluation instrument known as the conceptual map. The research, with a qualitative approach, sought to unveil the context of facts and phenomena in general, which helped to identify the possible categories to be studied in the classroom. A described activity was carried out involving eight groups of students from the Physical Education Licentiate course, who were enrolled in the discipline of Educational Evaluation, with the objective of creating a synthesis about the different evaluation instruments. After the debate and discussion in the classroom, with prior reading of the different types of evaluation instruments, it was possible to notice that conceptual maps are little used, especially in the school context. The debate allowed for the defense of the theme and the exploration of the pros and cons regarding this evaluation instrument.
