Acesso em:.http://bdm.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/prefix/980Linear Friction Welding (SFL), or Friction Stir Welding (FSW), has emerged with the aim of improving the materials that are commonly welded by fusion and which can easily generate several defects, such as lack of fusion for example, that compromise your mechanical performance. In addition to being considered as an environmentally friendly welding, SFL may be applicable to most metals, causing less modification of the original properties by mixing the material below the melting temperature. The fabrication was included in this type of welding in 5052 F naval plates to verify possible contributions in the properties of the joints, giving by the triangular trajectory, with the amplitudes of 0,5, 1,0 and 2,0 mm, and frequencies of 0,116, 0,109 and 0,031 Hz, being compared to the process without weighting, keeping the rest of the parameters equal, such as rotation speed, inclination angle, among others.
