Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/8050The use of digital tools is gaining more and more space in the teaching of English as a foreign language, making the classes more dynamic and also more visual. Among such tools, Canva® stands out as an accessible and versatile platform for producing educational material. This paper examines how recent research has been concerned with the use of Canva® in English language teaching. For this systematic literature review, seven articles published from 2020 to 2023 were selected from Periódicos Capes database. Findings indicate that using Canva® can increase student engagement and motivation while also making more creative learning possible. On the contrary, some challenges were identified: time required for adaptation, reliance on a good internet connection, and limitations of the free version. Nevertheless, studies emphasize the potential that this tool has in classrooms as a pedagogical resource.
