Acesso em:.https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/7997This work presents a Didactic Sequence (DS) proposal based on the principles of Zabala (2015), emphasizing the interaction between Science, Technology, Society and Environment (STSE) for the problem of cocoa cultivation (Theobroma cacao L.) under the themes “Metric System and Lever” providing meaningful and contextualized learning, as well as scientific and technological literacy for citizens. The proposal aims to promote a dynamic and engaging approach with the use of videos, simulators, texts, e-book and practice, which encourages students to build knowledge, skills and values necessary to make decisions on issues involving STSE. By integrating these pedagogical practices effectively, it is expected that they contribute to the development of students’ scientific knowledge, as well as to the training and professionalization of teachers, offering tools and strategies that enrich the teaching and learning process.
