The epidemiology of trauma is important for its correct knowledge and treatment. Therefore, it is necessary to define the occurrence and etiology of this condition, in order to better understand it. Objective: Describe the epidemiological profile of reported cases of victims of gunshot wounds in the face of the metropolitan region of Belém-PA attended by the Metropolitan Hospital of urgency and emergency. Methodology: A retrospective study was carried out, through the collection of information from the clinical records of the Metropolitan Hospital of Urgency and Emergency from January 2015 to December 2018. Results: There were 262 cases of firearm injury victims, 512 facial fractures, among which male individuals (86%), young people (second and third decade of life) predominated, with the highest incidence of fracture a mandible (18%).
