Acesso em: .https://bdm.ufpa.br/handle/prefix/9908This capstone project focuses on inclusive special education within the context of early childhood education, specifically addressing the challenges associated with the learning and development processes of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The objective was to map and analyze the theses and dissertations regarding the inclusion of children with ASD. In this educational context. The research is characterized by a bibliographic approach, of the State of the Art type, using as sources the catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Brazilian Digital Library (BDTD), considering the period from 2015 to 2025. The results showed that, despite advances in Brazilian legislation aimed at inclusive education, challenges related to teacher training, pedagogical practices, mediation of the teaching and learning process, social interaction, and the articulation between school and family still persist. The analyses demonstrate that effective inclusion depends on intentional pedagogical interventions, ongoing teacher training, and the construction of school environments that value diversity and promote the active participation of children with ASD.
