The Parque Encantado Housing Complex was chosen as a study area. Socio-spatial segregation manifests itself in several ways, it is the separation of social classes in certain areas/spaces of the city, where the poorest end up in areas less assisted by the city's public authorities and having greater difficulties in accessing essential services. Our objective is to study this phenomenon and at the same time verify that socio-spatial segregation manifests itself in a very evident way in the urban space of the city of Cametá. This work included a bibliographical survey and review; semi-structured interviews and technique and analysis of satellite images and creation of maps and data tables, in addition to the application of a semi-structured questionnaire. The study attests to the intensity of socio-spatial segregation in the city of Cametá, given the socio-spatial precariousness to which people living in the studied neighborhood are relegated. The research allowed us to perceive the residents of the Parque Encantado neighborhood as vulnerable social agents, being segregated within the city space.
