This issue is intensified in Amazonian várzea (floodplain) riverside communities, where geographic conditions and hydrological dynamics hinder infrastructure development. This study aims to propose a design for building hydro-sanitary systems for a conventional residence in rural floodplain areas subject to tidal effects. The project integrates social technologies and nature-based solutions, utilizing GIS-integrated tools and BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology for modeling. The study area, a standard single-family riverside dwelling, was selected based on the feasibility of obtaining constructive data in partnership with the owner, supplemented by software and databases to establish design parameters. The main results from the dimensioning and technical drawings highlighted the need to adapt sewage treatment for a single-family unit regarding the relevant technical standards.
